Aged in once used French oak, the aromatics begins with dried tobacco, freshly ground spices, and savory cured meats before moving into a bit of sweet confection, blueberry, plum, and violets. A beautiful blend of savory and sweet. Gentle and plush on the entry it quickly moves to a firm tannic grip, great spice, medium acidity and a finish of briary red and black fruits, gravel and game.
