Tip the Scales is our interpretation of a Grenache forward GSM blend. Rooted in new world, but with a nod to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Although her personality will change from vintage to vintage, her identity will remain constant.
25% new French oak and 10% whole cluster fermentation, the wine sports an array of fresh and candied red fruits, potpourri, dust, leather, and black pepper. The palate is medium bodied, seamless and finely integrated. Red fruits fill the front end, tannins and acid expand the mid palate and a finish lingers with spices, earth and returning fruit.
