Seeing 81% new French oak, 22% whole cluster and a dabble of co-fermented Viognier, the nose offers more dark fruit aromas of black raspberries and blueberry cobbler, violets, sweet jerky, white pepper and incense. The palate begins smooth and silky with dark fruit leading into a lovely mid-palate of fine grained tannins, lifting acidity and a long finish of juicy red fruit.
